Woodsong Bamboo Artisans
Woodsong Cottage and Rob Yard (pictured here) are both very dear to
Jim's heart. Located deep in the southern Virginia mountains, Woodsong
is a place where Jim goes to relax, recharge and rekindle his artistic
spirit. With a wonderfully empathetic sense of musicality and "jamming",
Rob Yard is one of Jim's favorite people to relax and pick a few tunes
with. Kathryn and the children (grown now) know some of the greatest
sing-along songs and chants, and are a joy to sing with. The family
produces some fine bamboo instruments and other useful items, all by
hand and with great care for tuning and aesthetics.
